Altamonte Springs, FL/August 28, 2012- Current FASCAR Pro-Truck Champion and P1 Groupe driver Jason Rosarius announced Friday that he and The Craig Spinal Care of Oviedo have inked a deal to join forces in a sponsorship capacity as Rosarius begins to move to through the next stage of his career in motorsports. The opportunity not only earns Rosarius another faithful sponsor, but also provides The Craig Spinal Care the opportunity for brand awareness and advertising on a National scale. In racing, accidents happen and injuries occur, which led to chiropractic work needing to be done to Rosarius in order for him to be functional within a racecar. That work led to a relationship between the racer and the center. The Oviedo native, who has now been a loyal client of Dr. David Craig’s for quite some time, knew the relationship between he and the center made perfect sense as both parties exhibit high levels of professionalism and expertise in their respective fields as well as now being accompanied by their history together.

“Before I started receiving treatment from Dr. Craig, my back and neck pain began causing me to become almost scared to keep up with my training and get back into a race car because of the pain and weakness” Rosarius stated. “Since meeting Dr. Craig he has put me through his program and different exercises I feel very confident of being able and perform at my peak. Our partnership joins two strong and emerging brands together, and I couldn’t be more excited to get going.”

The Craig Spinal Care Center shared Rosarius’ excitement. “Dr. David Craig of The Craig Spinal Care Center is proud to announce his sponsorship of NASCAR driver Jason Rosarius. Mr. Rosarius had been experiencing lower back and neck pain from several crashes that happened during his races. Dr. Craig is happy to report that Mr. Rosarius is feeling much better after treatment at The Craig Spinal Care Center. The top NASCAR drivers receive regular spinal adjustments to keep their bodies ready for the racetrack and with proper care; the drivers’ reflexes, flexibility, and strength are optimized for better results. Dr. Craig’s office has been helping athletes and Oviedo residents for 15 years.”

About The Craig Spinal Care Center:

Dr. David Craig is a graduate of The University of Florida and Life University. He has attained a fellowship through the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. He is also certified by The Spine Research Institute of San Diego in the expert treatment of automobile accident injuries. The Doctor regularly attends seminars and workshops on the latest chiropractic, acupuncture and natural healing techniques. He is proficient in the practice of 12 techniques of Chiropractic including Gonstead, Thompson, Palmer, Activator, Palmer, Sacro-Occipital, Diversified, and Cox. Dr. Craig utilizes nutritional supplements in his comprehensive approach to natural healing. He is proficient in the Brimhall Six Steps to Wellness health screening procedure, which is used to assess the status of the body’s major organic health systems.

Oviedo’s Jason Rosarius will be making the transition to NASCAR in 2012

By Steven Ryzewski | January 11, 2012

Plenty of athletes have passed through the halls of Oviedo High School.

The school has seen its share of star football, baseball and basketball players, among others.

Jason Rosarius, though, may have a distinct claim. The senior at OHS is a racecar driver and a good one at that. When he graduates this spring, he’ll be jumping from high school straight to the pros; NASCAR, to be exact.

Rest assured, 2012 is going to be quite the year for Rosarius, his family and supporters.

“It’s really exciting, it’s hard to describe,” Paul Rosarius, Jason’s father, said. “Our whole family is excited. Some people are a little afraid, but the [cars] are so safe [these days] … We know he’s safe and we know he’s a good driver.”

Rooted in Germany

The jump is the next step in a young career rooted in a passion for the sport. Jason spent his very youngest years living in Germany and it was there where he would spend some of his earliest days alongside his grandfather from his late mother’s side of the family watching Formula One racing.

It was a seed of interest that, once planted, seemed to grow relentlessly, and as Paul would come to find out, it was more than a phase or a whim his son was having.

“When Jason was 11 he came to me and said he wanted to race go-karts,” Paul said. “And having other kids before him, I knew all these ‘wants’ can get expensive so I said, ‘Okay, we’re going to find a track and we’re going to go there and if we go to every race for a year and if he still wants to do it I’ll invest the money.’”

As Jason explains it, making it to the track was never going to be an issue. Once the young enthusiast realized perhaps there was a way for him to get into the sport, that was all the motivation he’d end up needing.

“I never realized I could be a race car driver, but I’ve always been a fan of it,” Jason said. “But I’m watching [NASCAR] and I’m learning [about] all these drivers, how they’re getting started … And I’m like, ‘I can get started the same way they can.’

“So I kept talking to my Dad about it, he just thought it was one of those phases, and I kept doing my research and showing it to him.”

Paul says he came to recognize that it wasn’t just a passing phase, and the support of his son’s new passion began. The next step, after acquiring a cheap vehicle for Jason to learn on, was finding out if he was any good. That, Paul explains, didn’t take long before it was evident.

Jason started going to the track when he was 12, and it was one night that he happened to impress a former race car driver at the track. Jason took his first car, a Dodge Daytona, around the track and what little people saw that night was enough to foster some excitement.
